Refund policy
All sales are final on ALL items!
Each original piece is handmade including ceramic tiles, glass and resin, expect some imperfections; this is what makes each piece unique! No original can be recreated.
Color in actual item may appear slightly different than what is viewed on your computer screen. We do our best to match what you see to online to the originals, but it is difficult for us to compensate for everyone's personal computer settings.
If you receive a defective item, you may exchange it, if it is in stock, or receive a store credit. You must initiate the process within seven (7) days of receipt. You will have an additional seven (7) days for us to receive the item back. After 14 days from the point of delivery, no exchanges or store credits shall be considered or accepted.
Purchases made from a gift certificate will be refunded by an online store credit. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
IF AN ITEM IS RETURNED WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION, THERE WILL BE AN AUTOMATIC $20 RESTOCKING FEE DEDUCTED FROM THE 'STORE CREDIT' YOU WOULD BE ENTITLED TO.
Buyer is responsible for contacting sweetluescakestudio@gmail.com to initiate return process. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.
Please allow up to 2 weeks from the time you mail your order for the return or exchange to be processed. An email will be sent to you once the return or exchange has been processed.
Sweet Lue's Cake Studio is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages after an order has been mailed out. Please note, insurance is always applied on ALL packages for the amount of the item being shipped.
Please note for custom requests I will send an invoice to you in order to complete payment and you will have various options for payment.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are sent an invoice, you have 3 full days from the date the invoice was sent to pay that invoice. If you do not take care of the outstanding balance, I will assume you are no longer interested in receiving or purchasing anything from me. Your invoice will be deleted and you will have to reach back out to me to resend the invoice in order to proceed.
SERIOUS INQUIRIES only! Do not initiate a consult and have an invoice be sent with zero intent to pay what you are requesting from me.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
No refunds or exchanges on items. Must show proof of damage. Contact us for any special circumstances. Otherwise all sales are final. the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
